Your participation does make a difference

We sincerely appreciate your contribution of time or financial support, which enables us to advance our efforts to promote native habitats and conserve and rehabilitate wetlands.

Our primary objective is the removal of non-native vegetation and the establishment of native plants, shrubs, and trees to promote a sustainable ecosystem for wildlife. We are currently engaged in fundraising efforts to support a restoration burn.

We follow a flexible workday schedule to match natural conditions and choose optimal days for tasks. Contact us to join our workday email list.

Community Projects

Further opportunities to contribute positively to our native habitats include volunteering for community initiatives. We invite you to participate in one or both of the community projects we are supporting.

  • Lake Bluff Witness Tree Quest – to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S.A., we are asking community members to find and identify the oldest trees in Lake Bluff. Join us at Lake Bluff’s Farmer’s Market to promote the cause.
  • Endeavor Health is establishing a healing native garden at Highland Park Hospital to highlight nature’s benefits for mental and physical health. We are handling the design and installation, then mentoring Endeavor volunteers on garden maintenance.

We welcome donations through several convenient methods.
